TD Banknorth Garden
Located on Causeway Street in Boston's Downtown North section, the TD Banknorth Garden is a 19,600-seat arena that hosts many different types of entertainment and sporting events, including Boston Celtics basketball. The facility is privately owned by Delaware North Companies, Inc. and was designed by Ellerbe Becket, Inc. of Kansas City, Missouri. The TD Banknorth Garden is 10 stories tall and cost more than $150 million to build. According to the facility's official website, the TD Banknorth Garden also has three private restaurants, more than 100 executive suites, nearly 2,500 club seats and a multi-million dollar video scoreboard. The arena is also home to the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League, and in recent years is has hosted NCAA Division I Men's Basketball tournament games, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the NCAA Frozen Four Ice Hockey Championships and the NHL All-Star Game.
